SUPPORT GIRLS IN ACTION LITERACY INITIATIVES BY PURCHASING & DONATING A BOOK at our:
To further enhance our mission, and continue quality programming, Girls In Action is in need of the books saved on the Amazon.com website.
Each year, Girls In Action will enroll more than 25 girls ages 8-18 from the Washington DC metro area in its "Readers Are Leaders" Book Club program. Our girls will participate in a series of educational and social activities that promote literacy, teamwork, creativity, and leadership. Our programs teach critical life skills all while helping girls build self-esteem, confidence, and sense of purpose. All donated books will be added to our Readers Are Leaders Program Library and some books will be given to the girls FREE of charge to read at home on their leisure.
Thanks in advance for your support in our mission to empower, educate, and encourage our female youth.
